Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Supervisor, they provide evaluation, treatment and management of respiratory therapy and life support to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures. They are also responsible for performing diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  1. Be able to use and explain the use of all oxygen, CPAP/bilevel and life support equipment.
  2. Be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.
  3. Perform basic life support maneuvers.
  4. Be responsible for all assigned paperwork relating to billing through PACWIN.
  5. Cleans equipment and packages it as required.
  6. Communicates with supervisor regarding equipment and inventory.
  7. Understands and follows FDA guidelines.
  8. Maintains CPR, ACLS, PALS and NRP certification.
  9. On call coverage as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Annual completion of all required educational competencies.
  2. Attend all mandatory in-service classes.
  3. Other duties, as assigned.
  4. Maintains a clean and safe environment.
  5. Displays professional attributes including but not limited to, punctuality, professional demeanor and presentation; cooperation with peers, other healthcare workers and patients.
  6. Actively participated in performance improvement.
  7. Accepts accountability for own actions.


  1. Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory care.
  2. Must be a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care
  3. Current Montana RCP Licensure
  4. Certified in Basic Life Support; ACLS, PALS & NRP to be achieved within one year of employment
  5. Ability to treat all information as confidential.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
